Focus Problem
Focus Problem
One of the requirements for an out of motion exercises is that the dog remains in focus on the Handler while the Handler walks away or returns.
You can use Positive Reinforcement. We encourage you to have a combination of a verbal marker and also a very unique body movement. This way you do not have to worry that a sound from the crowd can release your dog in anticipation of the reinforcement.
For instance, Tobias uses a verbal marker and then steps wide for the dog to go between the legs.
