You can see another example of a poor FLIP TURN. The dog hopps in a sitting position while making the ABOUT TURN FLIP. We have to work on motor skills by attaching the leash around the dog’s waist and using an assistant, who will help the dog to stay upright while backing up  – 03:15 sec.
We add stationary marching steps as a command that the turn is coming – 06:31 sec.

Next step is to begin turning –  07:08 sec. Try not to go too fast in the turn. In the beginning, we will turn only 90° and stop turning while still doing the marching steps. We are working very hard to prevent the dog from sitting, which caused poor turn before.

Once the exercise above works well, we can put it together with the heeling – 15:24 sec.
