Training Video – Another 6-Month Old on Short Sleeve

Another 6-month old dog. The same concept as before but with slight modifications.

The dog in this video as not very clear about prey drive requiring silence and the Helper locking up requiring barking. It needs a little bit of improvement. If your dog behaves similarly, please go back to Attitude and Barking sections. Recall also needs to be revisited in the Foundation. When the dog is carrying the pillow, and you say COME, he really needs to come to you and not the other way around.

We have to adjust the training slightly. Because the dog prefers aggression vs. prey, we need to bring prey more into focus, or his grips will be negatively affected. Tobias takes a few steps back while the Handler is holding the leash tight. After a few steps, the dog will be released to bite. This will help with focus and prey drive – 03:40 sec.
