According to the rulebook, clearing A-Frame is not a jump but a climb.

When starting out with A-Frame, we teach the dog to go over it while being lured. When he is just off the top, pause and feed him.

Tobias shows a visible barrier the dog has to climb under on the way to the A-Frame and again go under after climbing off the A-Frame. This prevents the dog from jumping off the top off the A-Frame. The helping tool is called “The Kogan Bow”

At the beginning of this process, the barrier to climb before and after the A-Frame is very high. We will lower it later on.

Once your dog understands how to go over the A-Frame safely, you can add either a post or a box .
