The main challenges with FINISH FLIP: the dog is slow, the movement is not fluent and dog ends up in the croocked Basic Position.

Please review step 2.5  Section of Step by Step Heeling. It is best if you have a mirror.

1. We will position the dog at 45°.
2. Give the command to FINISH.
3. Gently pull on the leash to the right and continue holding STEADY pressure until the dog is in the Basic Position.
4. Release the pressure once the dog is in the Basic Position.
5. Mark and reinforce.

Slowly work all the way increasing the angle until the dog is in front. Do not expect speed in the beginning. It wil come with repetitions.
