Speed of Execution​

From the Positive Reinforcement training, you can reinforce faster execution only. The downside of this approach is when you have a certain criterion in your mind and it is not met. You do not reinforce the dog and ask for repetition. After 10 times of withheld reinforcement, the dog shuts down.

If you add Negative Reinforcement to the process, the leash pressure will go away when the dog is in a complete Sit position. The dog will understand that the faster he performs, the faster the pressure goes away.

As always, please keep focus on your timing and dosage. If the dosage is not enough, the performance will not approve. If the dosage is too hard, the dog might shut down. If the timing is off, the dog will be totally confused
