Training Example – Progression of the Same Dog – Prey, Defense and Mix of Both

We took one of our dogs and went through the whole process. We started with “Scare the Helper Away,” then fight over prey, introduced short sleeve, and lastly, we taught the dog to switch gears.

The dog is 6 months. He is a Belgian Shepherd, self-confident and open-minded. The Handler did a very good job creating a connection with the dog and as well as a good prey drive.

She began playing with the puppy at 8 weeks of age with a ball on a rope.
